Skagit Rural Voices Project
In 2021/22, Indivisible Skagit was selected to participate in the Rural Deep
Values Canvassing Pilot Project sponsored by the National Indivisible Rural
Caucus.
We received training in DVC practices, and trained 9 canvassers for the
project. We knocked on 1153 doors, and had 304 DVC conversations with
voters in the most rural communities of Skagit from across the political
spectrum. The whole process was both fun and fascinating! Want the
details? Click here to read the full report.
We formed the Skagit Rural Voices Action Team which focuses on
making sure the voices of rural people are heard by elected officials and
candidates. We are looking for ways to use DVC techniques in local races
and issue campaigns.
We provide training to all our team members. Contact us at
